    What I'm wondering, considering that there was only a hole in the wall, is what kind of drain do you have? Is it an approved BDT drain or does it just go straight out onto the lawn??

    Great work, wonderful kitchen! Love the idea of an outdoor kitchen that people are suggesting.

    I LOVE the drawers BELOW the counter! Even the sink! Finally no scrubby pads up on the sink edge! Finally a tilt out shallow drawer for the sink essentials! Just exactly wha ti would do! Nothing in the kitchen requires you to get down on your hands and knees to get something out of a dark and long forgotten recess! IF only !!

    That make shift pantry would make a great cat tower with some carpet placed on and around the spindle. If possible multi layer plywood boxes and solid door and draw faces will stand the test of time longer. This will look great but I fear it will be another project when your little one is a teen. I have put together a few RTA cabinets and they all involved glueing screwing and clamping the cabinet and watching these IKEA cabinets get put together gives me little faith on their longevity. But the functionality will improve your kitchen so, good for that, just worried it will be a project that will be repeated.

    It turned out very very nice! Could the upper half of your old spool pantry go on top of the counter over the corner cabinet? It might be a really cute, functional and nostalgic way to repurpose it.
