It is proclaimed at the end of the film .. that the four represent malice.. nurturing.. caring.. guidance.. the order they were killed...not the four horsemen of the apocalypse.. the reason why they were chosen..

I feel like the horsemen helped bring on the apocalypse they all had to be sacrificed they weren’t humans they were demons. In disguise to convince a human to make the final sacrifice of the apocalypse

Good movie, a major hang up though: how did the news station get the cannon beach footage? As someone who has a similar portable pistol safe, why bring it to the woods if you're gonna leave it in the car? Movie would've been pretty short
