    Basements all have the possibility of containing horrible things just waiting to be discovered by some unfortunate person/people. So many stories begin a new home owner,or a lot of the time,the police finding an extremely terrible secret left by the former resident(s). The whole world learns about what the prior home owner/residents left buried away in a dank,dark dungeon until their little secret is unveiled and broadcast on the news nation wide! Often times the people aren’t ever found out until they pass away, or they are discovered by a friend and/or family member who is/was being just a little too nosey for their own good. These unlucky people are always the ones that are the first person to see the horrors that were being kept by the perpetrator. Some of these people are able to hide their crimes and keep their secret unknown for literally decades until they get caught and they are prosecuted and sent to prison, or put on death row! The people who are their friends and family members are the first ones to say that they thought in a million years that they would be capable of committing such atrocities upon their innocent victim(s) and then we all get a good look behind the curtain and we all get to see the monster that had been hiding their absolutely horrendous crimes!!!
