If you haven't seen it yet, check out the movie, The Visit. Also an M. Knight Shamalamalaman movie. Underrated but very good...I promise.
Hope you two are well and sending some rain showers from your favorite green state.😉💚
Great reaction you two!
This is one movie that I had yet to see, but haven't gotten around to seeing it. Until now.
So this was a first time watch for me as well. And I really enjoyed this movie. I had forgotten that Dave Bautista was in it.
Some other Dave Bautista movies that I highly recommend: "Dune: Part 1"(2021), "Dune: Part 2"(2024), "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery"(2022), and even though he's not in it the first "Knives Out"(2019) because it's a great film.
Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
I think people tend to pigeon hole him as being horror when I think it's more like Hitchcock. He like psychology and that good storytelling element that keeps you on the edge of your seat- being creeper out by what might be going bump in the night. The right mix of funny, real/relatable, and unsettling.
I bet he tells his kids great bedtime stories.
Forgive the typos. I am too lazy to go inside for my glasses.
Aided by no expectation at the time. But it is great storytelling.
In my opinion.
BUT I HAVE TRIVIA!!!! So this movie is set just outside Philadelphia, in NEW JERSEY! My hooome! The cabin is deep in the woods of the Pine Barrens off of route 70 which goes east-west across central NJ (and is where the Jersey Devil is said to live). When the dad and Wen pull out and drive towards Philly at the end, 1, you cannot see the Philly skyline from there, at all lol, and 2, they stop at The Dairy Bar! I have driven that road to and from Philly hundreds of times in my life so even though the movie messed me up I got so excited to see that landmark featured in the film. But I do want to stress you absolutely can’t see the Philadelphia skyline from there, lol
