all right so the king of twists Mr M Night Shyamalan is back with his latest movie knock at the cabin and out of his last few movies I I kind of dug this one so basically a family goes on a weekend getaway to a secluded cabin and four strangers arrive telling them that they must make a sacrifice to stop the end of the world Dave Batista right off the bat this man is a great presence hulking but very subdued similar to his role in Blade Runner 2049 so he’s the core of this and some of the camera work was trippy as hell so the technical side of things is great I didn’t think the story was as tense as it could have been because you pretty much have all of the reveals by the midpoint but leading up to it did have me questioning a lot of things a fine psychological Thriller with a heavy dose of religious symbolism it’s decent but far from his earlier work
