    While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.

    Of course this movie had to go woke and include a gay couple as the focus, which comes across as blatant pandering more than a creative choice. I heard this is based on a book but unless the book actually focuses on a gay couple then I stand by my opinion.

    For the people hating that the film features a gay couple, the original book featured a gay couple, so please go educate yourself. Besides, (stereotypically) if it was a straight couple 9 times out of 10, you would expect the man to be the one responsible for the family, and will obviously make the sacrifice. When there is two men involved in the relationship, it makes it more of a mystery, as to which one will do it.

    Let's face the reality, the director is just addressing the fact that. A person was chosen to be sacrifice, that could be a roll of a dice. Could be anyone. The society is make of more than just a heterosexual people. Fact: straight, bisexual, gay, pansexual, transgender. People that I worked with, Some Man changed to be a woman, a woman changed to be a Man. And that their right what they wanted to be as an adult. In an animal world, ground and sea animals have relationship with mixed agenda. And it is not an uncommon fact. So people do changes over time base on their environmental factors.

    Another bad British garbage junk propatainment movie impossibly reset into an American setting, like the phony British author of the bad British book, that NO real existing person will ever see or hear of. It doesn't work and it doesn't make sense, especially impossibly set into an American setting of all places, but the movie "industry", propatainment, is famously and notoriously empty and dead so this kind of British transplant fiction doesn't come as a surprise to anyone!!!!

    One of his worst movies ever. Slow, no twist, just talking all through it, deaths off screen or not shown, Drax spoke his lines well but that’s it💩
