    Same here, I think it’s my seventh favourite out of his 15 films. It was really well acted but the ending took it a few spots down for me…

    Looking at the development of the movie it was part of the blacklist for a while and Shyamalan did a rewrite which reportedly took less then a moth which I guess would be the anticlimactic twist.

    Overall, certainly frustrating with an anticlimactic ending. But great performances by Bautista and Rupert. Killed 2 hrs but not going to crack my top 8 M Night films

    Watched it yesterday and I think it’s okay. Nothing special, but it’s also not horrible. Dave Bautista was great though

    No way. This was my favorite movie of his next to Sixth Sense. I know people are going into our hoping for a twist which isn’t this kind of movie, but holy 💩. None of the acting in this movie felt like acting at all. This movie was gut-wrenching, let you guessing, and absolutely brilliant. I owe Dave Bautista an apology because I had no clue he could be such a phenomenal actor

    I personally found it better than mid-tier. The drama worked for me. I didn’t even care at the end of it was or wasn’t all real. I just enjoyed seeing things progress and feel earned.

    Just watched this movie. This should have went straight to DVD in 2023. Everything about it is so poor. I felt like I should get my money back tbh.

    This guy is really giving a bit too much credit. I can’t understand how someone would actually give this film a pass. I was more excited by the trailers for the movies coming in April.

    I left the theatre wanting more, a little disappointed as I was expecting more being a MNS film... some characters felll flat, wish more back story... some characters made zero sense, hits the one note over and over again rings true.... wasnt great wasnt terrible... just fell and felt flat...still loved the fact I was back at the theatre...just left unsatisfied.

    How is it a bad ending the group that came to the cabin said he had to kill someone he loved in the end and that is exactly what he did and they said they will save the world if that happens and everything bad thing stopped happing to the world did everybody want some strange twist or not to do what the strangers what to do did everybody watching it just want the world to end cause they did not want them to do want the group that came to do the l understood the ending and did not mind it

    Who keeps letting shamalamadingdong make movies? Movie was not good. The only character i liked was Bautista's character. Anytime someone has to expain all the artistic value of a movie for it to be appreciated, is telling you the movie is boring.
