    My guess for the big M. Night twist is that Batista and the other three are the Four Horseman, but they've decided that they don't want to end the world. However, in order to prevent the world from ending and being forced to carry out their tasks, they have to kill the girl, who is probably going to become either the anti-christ or the messiah in the future
