    Can 100% understand his arachnophobia only being about small spiders, not huge ones. I've joked to my husband that I wouldn't mind having a pet Huntsman spider to take care of small pests around the house, since it would just be like living with a very fast-moving land-crab. It's the little ones you can't see that are supposedly nearby all the time and you don't know they're there that are terrifying. The tiny ones people say you inhale while you sleep. A huge spider you can keep tabs on is okay.
