  7. M Night: Genius or

M Night Shamylan is a divisive figure in Hollywood. He’s been praised as much as he has been hated. I want to break down and analyze his career and outline his filmography. His portfolio is exciting but fraught with failures and successes alike. I think some people think M Night has fallen off but I think that we are just getting started with his comeback story.

Currently he released the film “trap” with Josh Hartnett and many are on the fence about how his newest debut actually went. Some say that hate it, others loved it. No one is really seeking middle ground. Then there is the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Outstanding movies for which he is remembered. So why such a bleak contrast. This video talks about the differences, where I think M Night’s career will go, and why I still think he’s one of the best directors working.

Bravo 👏‼️💯I don't know if you're going to cover it but there was a time where he flipped out in front of a Disney executive in the middle of the restaurant.

Ironically, I view Shyamalan's career like Merrill's baseball career in "Signs". He has a lot of records & some big hits, but he also took a lot of swings. This was a great video!

Being known for twist endings has to be such an unfortunate box to be put in

The same was said the same thing about John Carpenter back in the late seventies and eighties. His films were always up and down. This is a damn good video
Keep up the great work 💯‼️
