1st how do the cops and feds know that the "butcher" is going to be at this concert venue on this day. If they know who he is then they can just arrest him so who could have told the cops and feds The butcher was going to be at this concert venue and set a trap for him.
Picture this: Cole, now an adult uses his supernatural abilities to assist law enforcement in tracking down serial killers before they can strike again. It's a good theory but isn't that just the kind of unexpected twist M. Night loves to deliver. After all, the last time we saw Cole, he was using his gift to help spirits, like the young girl whose stepmother was poisoning her and helped her find peace by resolving their unsettled affairs. Perhaps Cole is helping the spirit of one of "The Butchers" victims, guiding them toward resolution and Peace. But we don't see Cole til the end of the movie when the twist happens.
THIS IS WHY I THINK THIS might actually be a secret sequel to the sixth sense.Consider how the movie split was revealed as a continuation of the movie unbreakable which we learned FROM the twist at the end of the movie. And the trailer says a phrase, “Get Ready for a new experience in the world of M. Night Shyamalan.” When any trailer starts off saying "from the world of…" it hints at an exploration of a previous movie from the same director. But which one?. With Bruce Willis retired it isn't going to be a continuation of the unbreakable movies and the sixth sense is the only logical movie that nobody would ever expect to see a sequel especially when there has never been any mention of it . Not to mention Haley Joel was doing an interview and said he was working on a new movie that he can't say what it was but promised it will be something great. So now with this trailer coming out I am convinced think this is a long awaited sequel to the sixth sense
Who else would know that he is the butcher and could for sure make sure he is going to be there.
I think the entire trap is set by his daughter once she finds out who he is and what he’s been doing.
I just saved you the price of a ticket...
The guy chained up on the phone screen is ONE of the killers (There are actually two) and josh is at the concert to find the second one.
The revenge and grief has left him slightly deranged, and that's why he looks unstable at times in the trailer.
