    I am not sure of what ur plan is but I wish u make a 360-footpath platform around the stem around the stem of the tree so they go around the tree n come back - not at tree to tree-to-tree-ziplining but a platform to platform - that will be more exciting for the kids...

    The playhouse is coming along. it shouldn't take too long to cut out the notches and put it back together, so long as you don't miss marking any out. Have a great weekend

    Why not use a chainsaw to cut the 6x6 tops down. Instead of taking it apart you weaken the boards drilling screws in and out. Looks good.

    I like the structure of the play house , I bolt them beams to the 4x4 or 4x8 , using allthread with washer and nuts on each side , so when they get loose all you have to do is tighten up on each side ...... just passing along so knowledge I've used from a old framer friend of mine .

    I love all the hard work that y'all put in and still make sure to take time for your family. I love that!

    I am sure that you have thought of this, but I'd rather say something now before it potentially gets forgotten. Remember to put some diagonal bracing between the posts and the floor joists when you get to that point. Doing that should help to stabilize and minimize the side-to-side movement of the treehouse, especially since it is going to be up off of the very nice foundations that you have built.

    The playhouse is coming right along. Looking forward when you get busy on the house again. I am concerned about Gary’s breathing…not sure if it’s just the mics or if he has some breathing issues…does he smoke or have asthma? May be concerned about nothing, it just sounds like he has trouble breathing.
